Introduction

Trade Association Hub launched to help boost growth of companies

“Trade Associations and Chambers, or TACs, are aggregators and multipliers in our business eco-system… and a valued partner of the Government. The TA Hub is not just a brick-and-mortar space. It will also help build a stronger TAC community, and cultivate a culture of mutual support and collaboration… and help Singapore companies do well in the future economy.”
-- Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Official Opening of Trade Association Hub, November 2017

In line with the Government’s plan to transform industries, the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) has launched an industry transformation map and initiated a Trade Association (TA) Hub for trade associations.

Cross-Industry Collaborations

The TA Hub fosters a collaborative ecosystem whereby TAs:
1.    share resources and programmes (e.g. specialized skills training)
2.    extend specific industry expertise (e.g. logistics solutions) to other industries
3.    cluster together (where synergies exist) to drive productivity gains across multiple industries

Currently, more than 150 trade associations are members of the SCCCI, of which over 30 are located at the TA Hub.
