The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) and Singapore Food Manufacturers’ Association (SFMA) are organising a 1-day visit to Bintan Industrial Estate (BIE) to find out the latest insights and opportunities of the Halal and Food Processing Zone within BIE.
With the ever-growing demand of Halal products that include food and non-food products, the Halal zone provides massive opportunities for business owners to capitalise on the facilities and status to reach out to this market that has an annual estimated worth of US$2 trillion globally.
The Food Processing Zone enable business owners to take advantage of the Free Trade Zone status of the island and the competitive operating expenditure to enhance their nett profit income.It also provides them with the ability to expand their operation within the same area due to the abundance of land within BIE that has a landbank of 4,000 hectares in the south-western part of Bintan Island.
