The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) invites application for the posts of:  

 

1. Executive (Research & Publications)

Responsibilities:

  • To actively support the Director to undertake practical research and analysis on business-centric economic issues (e.g. capability building, manpower, business cost, internationalization, government incentive schemes, etc) to enable evidence-based policy formulation and strategic planning;
  • To participate in the design and conceptualization of research work, undertake data collection and rigorous data analysis;
  • To work closely with various external stakeholders and partners, including government agencies, trade associations, academia and consultancy firms;
  • To present and communicate research findings and recommendations to the business community; and
  • To support the production and contribute write-ups for SCCCI’s various key publications and social media platforms

Requirements:

  • Possess a good degree in Business, Economics or Social Sciences from a recognised university;
  • Entry-level candidates, and candidates with 2-3 years of research experience, are welcome to apply;
  • Able to undertake independent and robust quantitative analysis;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Able to help plan and execute outreach events to support research work; and
  • Must be self-motivated, a team player, demonstrate initiative and attention to detail

 

2. Senior Executive / Executive (External Relations)

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise and coordination of projects with involvements of overseas Chambers and media
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Maintain proper project correspondence and documentation

Requirements:

The ideal candidate:

  • has a good degree in any fields;
  • is effectively bilingual with excellent communication and writing skills in English and Chinese (in order to liaise with the English & Chinese speaking associates);
  • has experience in project management, from conception to delivery;
  • has adequate and solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management.

 

3. Executive / Assistant Executive (Membership Services)

Responsibilities:

  • To market and promote membership services through road shows and phone calls;
  • To manage and administer membership-related affairs, which include upkeeping membership databases and
  • To organise membership networking events

Requirements:

  • Possess a recognised degree or diploma
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, team player and effectively bilingual in Chinese and English (To liaise with Chinese-speaking clients)
  • Knowledge in database administration preferred

1. Trainer Cum Curriculum Developer

Responsibilities 职责范围:

  • Develop, conduct and review Chinese language related curriculum / courses.

2. Programme Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales through concerted outreaching efforts to new clients with practical training solutions
  • Spearhead recruiting activities and events
  • Develop and enhance marketing collaterals
  • Conduct course preview and orientation

Requirements 职位要求:

  • Entry-level candidates, or candidates with 1-2 years’ sales working experience are welcome to apply, with training or education industry experience is a plus
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

 

3. Executive (Digital Marketing)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and monitor the company presence on social media
  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilise and execute a range of Search Engine techniques on a continuous basis
  • Improve the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools

Requirements:

  • Possess a degree, preferably with at least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
  • Resourceful, with skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practices

 

4. Academic Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative duties relating to the academic department, include the audit preparation
  • Coordinate the engagement, assessment, scheduling of trainers and new course/trainer registration

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline
  • At least 2-3 years of working experiences preferably in the education and training industry
  • Proficient in MS Office applications       
  • Proactive, meticulous, possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and a good team player

 

5. Front Office Assistant (City Campus)

Responsibilities:

  • To man the front-desk operations, which include attending to incoming phone calls and walk-in queries
  • To provide day-to-day administrative services
  • To undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Min O Level holder
  • Prior receptionist experience preferred
  • Proficient in English & Chinese to deal with Chinese-speaking associates

 

6. Assistant Finance Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sales and Operation teams for Accounts and Grants Receivable duties
  • Handle bank and receivable reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly audit schedule

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills with all levels of staff
  • ACCPAC system knowledge is an advantage

 

7. Office Pantry / Cleaner (City Campus)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare & serve beverages, finger food etc
  • Clean up the refreshment areas as and when required
  • Tidy up the classroom after each session
  • Cleaning of all designated areas (reception, office etc)

1. Senior Business Advisor

Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent will be expected to deliver services provided by SME Centre, including conducting business advisory, capability workshops, business or productivity diagnoses and involving in group-based productivity improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • A degree holder or equivalent, with more than 10 years of relevant experience and a good track record in undertaking a wide range of productivity projects
  • Relevant qualification includes expertise in subject such as process re-engineering, quality management, business excellent and general business management
