2018 Singapore (Asia)-China International Consumer Electronics and Homeware Show (ACES)
The 9th 2018 Singapore (Asia)-China International Consumer Electronics and Homeware Show (ACES) in 2018 is the only comprehensive consumer electronics fair in Singapore. The fair is jointly organised by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCMB) and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI). A total of 300 booths within an area of 5,000 sq. metres will exhibit consumer goods such as home appliances, textiles and garments, office supplies, household products, cleaning products, gifts and car trims, and other high-end branded products.
The ACES has invited reputable enterprises from China’s developed regions to showcase an excellent range of consumer electronics and household products. Meanwhile this exhibition will promote mutual trade and business collaborations between Chinese enterprises and local Singapore enterprises, as well as neighbouring countries in the region. The ACES is supported by Economic Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of China in Singapore, Ningbo Municipal Commission of Commerce, Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Commerce, China Chamber of International Commerce (Singapore), China Zhejiang Center (Singapore), International Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Manufacturing Federation, Singapore Business Federation and Singapore - Chinese Business Association, Supporting Electronics, Technology & Industry Organisation (Singapore), and the Association of Electronic Industries in Singapore, etc.
- Newly Added Forum: The theme of the 2018 Singapore-China Forum is “Made in China 2025”. Corporate representatives from Singapore and China will be invited to give talks and discuss the meaning of “Made in China” in the past, present and future. The event is expected to attract 500 representatives of related corporations.
- Specialised Zones: The exhibition will be divided into five specialised zones: the Smart Technology, the Lighting Electronics, the Personal Telecommunications, Household Appliances and Health Electronics, as well as the Household Goods. Each zone has invited the top companies in the respective industries to lead the way in the exhibition.
- Complete Upgrading of the Model for the Matching of Trade: Through SCCCI’s local and overseas business network, the organising committee of the fair conducted a pre-exhibition survey with previous visitors of the event to understand their interests and needs. With this information, the committee is able to target the correct companies during the recruitment stage of exhibitors.
- Business Matching Sessions: Major business buyers from five nearby ASEAN countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Philippines) were invited to the event as well. Business matching sessions were arranged during the event to provide exhibition opportunities to talk to foreign buyers face to face.
