1. Manager, Content Strategist

Responsibilities

  • Undertake the strategic planning for SCCCI’s overall content strategy across a spectrum of platforms (including corporate website and social media), and translate these into actionable plans for implementation
  • Undertake the review, and provide qualitative/quantitative analysis, and strategic insights to SCCCI’s management relating to the implementation of SCCCI’s content strategy
  • Formulate creative concepts to express and communicate content clearly in an engaging manner to SCCCI’s audience across all platforms
  • Recommend and optimise SCCCI’s content calendar to generate highest engagement among stakeholders
  • Create and edit bilingual content

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Digital Marketing or from a relevant field
  • Prior work experience in an advertising agency, corporate environment, or in a consulting capacity
  • Good knowledge of digital strategy, digital marketing, social media disciplines and technologies to deliver effective creative work
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills in Chinese and English (to facilitate engaging the Chinese and English-speaking stakeholders)
  • Proficient in the relevant content tools (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, animation skills, etc)
  • Able to work well, independently and in a team environment
  • Passionate about content, design and data analytics
  • A good grasp of Chinese language

 

2. Executive Secretary

Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial support to the top management
  • Perform corporate secretarial duties for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Prepare minutes of Board meetings / General meetings
  • Collate reports and presentations
  • Assist the team in organising events when necessary
  • Undertake ad hoc duties assigned by the Corporate Services Director

Requirements

  • Positive attitude and good communication skills

  • Possess at least a secretarial or relevant diploma certificate
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

3. Executive (Corporate Services)

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the office
  • Support the Secretariat through a variety of administrative tasks
  • Manage schedules and deadlines of assigned projects
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Take minutes at meetings and provide general assistance during meetings
  • Collate reports and presentations when necessary
  • Assist the team in organising events when necessary
  • Undertake ad hoc duties assigned by the Corporate Services Director

Requirements

4. Senior Executive / Executive (Communications and External Relations)

Responsibilities

  • Create bilingual (Chinese and English) content and post on SCCCI social media platforms
  • Formulate creative concepts to communicate clearly in an engaging manner
  • Recommend and optimise marketing's social content calendar to generate highest engagement among stakeholders
  • Provide editorial support

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Communications or Marketing
  • 1-2 years of experience in an advertising agency and/or corporate environment
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing, social media disciplines and technologies to deliver effective creative work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English (in order to liaise with the Chinese & English-speaking stakeholders)
  • Basic Photoshop / photo-editing knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to work well, independently and with others

 

5. Manager (Finance)

Responsibilities

  • Review and ensure all reports are prepared in accordance with financial reporting standards, group policies and statutory requirements; 
  • Analysis financial performance to ensure proper controls are in place to meet the group’s expectation;
  • To prepare financial budget and forecast
  • Full set of financial report
  • Experience in corporate tax and GST returns
  • To implement and monitor internal controls;
  • Good communication and support the liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • To assist in ad-hoc project evaluation; and
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Accountancy degree or professional qualifications in accounting
  • Familiar & proficient with ACCPAC accounting software (windows version)
  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in dealing with full set of accounts
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in Chinese & English, to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates
  • Relevant experience in China’s tax/ accounting knowledge will be an advantage.

 

6. Executive, Finance

 Responsibilities

  • Handle revenue, general accounting and project accounting
  • Assist to prepare financial and management accounts for monthly reporting
  • Review and analyse financial performance to ensure proper controls are in place to meet the group’s expectations
  • Assist to implement and monitor internal controls
  • Assist in systems improvements
  • Support the liaison with external auditors, tax agents, banks, lawyers and government agencies
  • Handle fixed assets and grant accounting
  • Handle all legislative submissions on financial matters
  • Conduct adhoc project evaluations and other activities as and when required

 Requirements

  • Accountancy diploma holder or above
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Familiar and proficient with ACCPAC accounting software (Windows version) and MS Office Excel
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

 

7. Senior Executive (Culture, Education & Community)

Responsibilities

  • Provide supports Cultural, Social, Education and Community-related projects, events and seminars, focusing on guest invitation management (invite, RSVP, confirmation, etc.) and event publicity.
  • Provide secretariat service to the reporting committee
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Director

Requirements

  • Minimum a polytechnic diploma holder, preferably with 2 years’ experience.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Meticulous and organized person;
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications;
  • Interest and good grasp of Chinese customs and cultural issues preferred.

 

8. Assistant Manager / Senior Executive (Information Technology)

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintenance of organisation LAN and WAN infrastructure on Switch, Router, Wireless, Firewall and Security tools
  • Administer and maintenance of servers, computers, printers, network and communication channels (O365)
  • Provide 1st level helpdesk & end user support on computer hardware, OS, access to network resources, printer & other system related issues (including setup of equipment for new staff)
  • Assist in liaising with vendors on hardware & software procurement/renewals
  • User Access Management; Add, remove or update user account information, reset password etc.
  • To guide and ensure user compliance with IT security policies, processes and procedures
  • Ensure all IT issues are timely attended, resolved and properly documented
  • Provide accurate and timely overview of IT Issues, System & Network Health
  • IT Asset Management including hardware and software license management
  • Conduct End User training on IT related matters, as and when required
  • Handle any other IT Ad-hoc related duties assigned by Superior

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or higher in Information Technology / Computer Science
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of server, computer hardware, system troubleshooting, networking and IT system maintenance
  • Able to work independently and prioritize workloads effectively
  • Team player with good documentation, organisational & interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills in verbal and written English and Chinese (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates)
  • At least 5 years experiences in server, network support, administration and troubleshooting

 

9. Senior Executive / Executive (Curatorial and Programmes)

Responsibilities

  • Curate exhibition related to SCCCI’s history and culture
  • Project management of the SCCCI permanent gallery
  • Facilitate special project administration as well as be part of a team to design and execute SCCCI’s programmes for members of public (Programmes include tours, public lectures and workshops on SCCCI history and culture)
  • Manage and facilitate regular overseas and local visits to SCCCI

Requirements

  • Degree in the Arts and Social Sciences, strong interest in Singapore Chinese business history and culture
  • 2-5 years of relevant working experience in curation, programming and events management of arts and cultural events for a diverse audience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (in order to liaise with the English & Chinese speaking associates)
  • Good organisational and project management skills (able to multi-task and work independently)
  • Able to work outside of regular office hours on event days (including evenings, weekends and public holidays)

 

10. Intern (Research & Publications)

  • To provide effective support to the Research & Publications Department on survey and research projects.
  • To conduct phone interview and field-work engagement with SCCCI’s corporate members to get feedback on business issues
  • To engage SCCCI’s members and business participants attending seminars, dialogues and activities to obtain feedback on business issues
  • To undertake data analysis on raw data

Learning Outcome:

10 weeks of internship to acquire first-hand experience in engaging the business community, and direct involvement in conducting survey and research projects, including assisting to analyse the data collected.
