1. Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Heritage and Culture – (1-year contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement programmes and new initiatives set by the Chamber to promote its heritage and culture
  • Keep abreast of current industry developments for heritage and culture
  • Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate, design and anchor strategic programmes that would grow the scene
  • Provide in-depth and holistic account management of the relevant projects

 Requirements:

  • Good university degree, preferably in the Arts and Social Sciences, with knowledge on Singapore history and heritage
  • Preferably 3 to 5 years of working experience in project management, account management and administration in historical and cultural sectors
  • Passionate to promote Chinese business culture and heritage, to inspire people and connect the communities
  • Excellent English and Chinese written and verbal communication skills (in order to liaise with English & Chinese speaking associates)
  • High level of initiative, drive and resourcefulness
  • Good facilitation and public engagement skills
  • Able to work well both independently and as a member of a team

SCCIOB Career

The Singapore Chinese Chamber Institute of Business (SCCIOB) invites application for the posts of:  

 

1. Trainer Cum Curriculum Developer

Responsibilities 职责范围:

  • Develop, conduct and review Chinese language related curriculum / courses
    开发、教授及审核中文相关课程
  • Work with respective institutions or agencies on course collaboration or accreditation
    与相关机构进行合作或课程鉴定
  • Conduct induction programme and evaluation of adjunct trainers
    协助兼职培训师了解及融入学院并评估其表现

Requirements 职位要求:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor degree in linguistics or Chinese studies
    至少拥有语言学或中文专业学士学位
  • At least 5 years’ of experience in developing and teaching academic, WSQ and non-WSQ Business Mandarin Courses
    至少五年开发及教授学术、新技能资格及非新技能资格商务华语课程方面的经验

2. Assistant / Sales and Marketing Manager (Educational)

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement sales & marketing strategies and be accountable for the achievement of sales and business goals
  • Build the business by identifying/pursuing corporate prospects and generating market awareness of the Institute
  • Train, coach and develop a team of programme consultants

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification, preferably with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in the training or education industry
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

 

3. Senior / Programme Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales through concerted outreaching efforts to new clients and existing trainees
  • Spearhead recruitment activities and events
  • Develop and enhance marketing collaterals

Requirements:

  • Entry-level candidates, or candidates with 1-2 years of working experience in sales are welcome to apply, with training or education industry experience is a plus
  • Pleasant personality, excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

 

4. Assistant Executive / Executive (Finance)

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sales and Operation teams for Accounts and Grants Receivable duties
  • Handle bank and receivable reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly audit schedule

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills with all levels of staff
  • ACCPAC system knowledge is an advantage

 

5. Executive (Academic Operations)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth and effective programme administration process and student affairs
  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory and statutory requirements and standards
  • Maintain proper filing and fee collection system

Requirements 

  • Possess minimum a diploma, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the PEI, Training and Education industry
  • Familiar with CPE and SSG requirements
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Meticulous and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (in order to liaise with the English & Chinese speaking associates)

1. Senior Business Advisor

Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent will be expected to deliver services provided by SME Centre, including conducting business advisory, capability workshops, business or productivity diagnoses and involving in group-based productivity improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • A degree holder or equivalent, with more than 10 years of relevant experience and a good track record in undertaking a wide range of productivity projects
  • Relevant qualification includes expertise in subject such as process re-engineering, quality management, business excellent and general business management
  • Experience in providing advisory or management consultancy
